TV Lessons not Popular.— Experiments in teaching by television in France have not so far achieved any popularity. The majority of both pupils and teachers at Sevres High School near Paris where experiments have been carried out in mathematics, French and English, are opposed to the system. One 14-year-old girl said: “I do not get the chance to ask questions I want—and besides the boys chatter too much when there is no teacher in the class.”—Reuters.
