THREE CARS IN ACCIDENT
Three cars travelling in the same direction in Fendalton road at 5.40 pun. yesterday were involved in an accident The rear car hit the car in front, which then ran into the back of the leading car. Three young women were taken to the Christchurch hospital, but were not admitted One of the cars was badly damaged. Miss Helen Jowsey, of 483 Cashel street and Miss Joan Pierce, of 9 Hooker avenue, were treated for minor shock, and Miss Nora Walsh, of 62 Hollyford road, was treated for minor face lacerations.
