A two-storeyed house at 7 Whareera terrace, Cashmere, was passed in at public auction yesterday The house is divided into two flats, and is on a section of 2 roods 15.6 perches. It was offered on account of the estate of F. C. Thornton Bidding started at £5OOO and rose in £lOO bids to £5400
A section of 38.4 perches, at 434 Cashel street, Linwood, was also passed in. Bidding started at £lOOO and rose in £lOO bids to £l3OO.
A two-storeyed house at 36 Dublin street, Lyttelton, was passed in at a second auction. Bidding started at £9OO and rose in £lOO bids to £llOO Built on an 18perch section, the house of three bedrooms, with two garages, was offered on account of the estate of Lily May Carson.
