ADMISSION OF CHARGES
Indecent Assault And Assault
(N Z Press Association) ROTORUA, May 10. Te Hira Fergusson, aged 49, restaurateur, of Rotorua faced two charges of assault and six of indecently assaulting males, when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court before Mr G. J. Donne, S.M., at Rotorua yesterday. Accused pleaded guilty on all counts. Mr Donne remanded Fergusson to appear for sentence on May 23. Bail of £l5O on his own recognisance with one surety of a similar amount was allowed.
Detective Senior-Sergeant W. H. A. Sharp did not read the summary of evidence to the Court but handed it to the Magistrate.
The summary gave details of the actions of accused with three boys involved over a period from November, 1960. to January, 1961.
The offences took place at the Ward Baths, Sulphur Point, and in a dwelling at Hannahs bay, near Rotorua.
