PONY CLUB FORMED
Little River Meeting
The inaugural meeting of the recently-formed Little River Pony Club was held at Mr K. P. F. Neill’s home, with a subsequent meeting at Mr B. Black’s home to discuss details for last Sunday’s rally. The rally, held in the Cooptown Domain, was an unqualified success, about 25 horses and a larger number of riders being present. The instructors divided the riders into three groups, and games, dressage, and jumping events were carried out.
A rally will be held every Sunday during the current school holidays, beginning at 11 am.
Club officers have been elected as follows:
Patron, Sir Bruce Stewart; president, Mr B. Black; sec-retary-treasurer, Mr H. A. J. White; committee, Mesdames T. Latham, J. Willan, K. P. F Neill. A. Watson, R. Chapman. Messrs K. P. F. Neill, R. Webb, E. Newton, A. Watson; instructors, Mesdames J. Willan and K. P. F. Neill, and Mr B. Black.
