Visas
Sir, —Mr F. P. Walsh states that it is just as difficult to get a visa for the United States as it is to get one for Heaven. The principle of entry—suitability—naturally applies to both places, but attainment of the latter destination does not present an insuperable difficulty, as implied by Mr Walsh. Love of God and a reluctance to injure one’s neighbour work wonders, and the application of this latter precept would surely spell an end of the reckless and unjustifiable strikes which, while demonstrating one man’s power, nonetheless injure his neighbour and society in general.— Yours, etc., TRUL*Y BLUE. May 5, 1961.
