Chrysanthemum Show Titles

(N Z. Press Association) OAMARU. May 4. Growers from Palmerston North to Bluff were represented at the South Island chrysanthemum championship show held in Oamaru today. The champion of champions bloom in the South Island championship section was won by W. Spedding (Ashburton), with an exhibition single bloom. J. A. Hollows (Palmerston North) won six South Island titles. C. W. Preen (Dunedin), won the remaining two titles. The chrysanthemums were shown in exceptionally good order, because of the favourable weather conditions of the last few weeks.
