Struck On Chin By Crowbar
(N.Z. Press Association) DARGAVILLE, May 5. A bridge builder was fatally hurt when he was hit under the chin by a crow, bar at Parore, near Dargaville, today. He was: Edward Alan Meurant. aged 40. married with two children Mr Meurant was using the bar to guide a pile through the planks of a bridge when the pile was fouled, dropped about a foot, and caused the bar to swung up and strike i him.
