(N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE, May 5. A Supreme Court writ claiming £A2,000,000 damages was issued yesterday for the Standard Insurance Company, Ltd. The writ names as defendant Henry David Cracknell Wilson, of Tower street. Vaucluse, Sydney. Mr Wilson is the former Sydney manager of Standard Insurance. Standard Insurance, a New Zealand company, failed recently with a loss of £A2.500,000 A legal authority said last night the £A2.000.000 claim was one of the biggest writs issued in New South Wales. If litigation followed the Supreme Court could not hear the case for at least two years because of the delay in hearings.
