Man’s Death At Te Anau

(NZ Press Association) INVERCARGILL, May 4. A man, aged about 50. was found drowned in Lake Te Anau after having been reported missing from the Te Anau Hotel today Constable L. Everett, of Lumsden, was notified, and began a search round the lake-side with the help of a glass-bottomed box boat finding the man's body in six fathoms of water. The man. it is understood, was on holiday from the North Island and had flown to Milford Sound a few days before He arrived at the Te Anau Hotel and stayed there on Wednesday night.
