U.K. Loan To India
(N.ZJ’.A.-Antrr— Copyright) NEW DELHI. May 1. Britain today agreed to make India two loan® totalling £ 40m as an Initial contribution to India'* third fiveyear plan, said Associated Press. The first loan of £3om 1* said to be the largest untie loan ever made by Britain for oversea* development. The second ?* £10.000.000 is intended to support the Indian balance of payments in 1981-82. Both loan* are repayable over a 25 year period.
