NOTHING TO DO

Boy Baffles Court (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, May 2. A 15-year-old boy who just wanted to lie in bed and do nothing had baffled Cardiff magistrates yesterday, the “Daily Express" reported. There was nothing wrong with him, the Court was told, but he “seems quite content to do nothing at all. He never speaks. He never does anything.” His parents had taken him before the Court as beyond their control. Welfare officers, a psychiatrist and probation officers had failed in their attempts to coax some enthusiasm out of him. "What would you like to do?" a Magistrate asked him. "Nothing. Sir.” he replied. After hearing a report, the Magistrate asked if he had anything to say for himself. “Nothing,” he said, and sat down.
