Mr Strydom’s Speech On Conference
Because of a mishearing. Reuters erroneously reported yesterday that Mr Strydom. the South African Prime Minister, had said in the House of Assembly that “the Prime Ministers” of other Commonwealth countries felt that Commonwealth conferences should be something more than just conferences of Commonwealth countries. What he said was that “political leaders” had expressed this view.
