Hydatids

Sir. —I would like to add t" “Action Wanted’s’’ letter of April 19 about inspection of meat at Turaf slaughterhouses. Our local butchers carry bread as well as meat in their delivery vans. The bread is not wrapped. Not only that, but some of the new-type vans have the bread stored in open shelves at the front of the van beside the drivers. The sliding doors are often open and the bread is exposed to dust from i oads and farm yards. The old baker carts of 100 years ago carried bread in a more hygienic manner. —Yours, etc..
