The City Engineer of Dunedin <Mr G. K. Armstrong) has left for a visit to Australia, Britain, Europe and the United States to study developments in municipal engineering. In Paris, he will represent the New Zealand Standards Institute at a conference. Mr T. Curtis was elected a life member at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Tomato, Stone Fruit and Vegetable Growers’ Association last evening.
