(Rec. 8 p.m.) MELBOURNE, April 29. The first British migrant to come, to Australia under the “pay later plan,” sponsored by the Custom Credit Corporation, will leave England on May 8. She is Mrs Audrey Hitchins, of; Beech Hill. Wigan, Lancashire. Mrs Hitch ins, who will live in Sydney, is due to arrive at Sydney’s Kingsford-Smith airport on May 10. The chairman of the Custom Credit Corporation (Mr I. Jacoby) recently announced that his company would provide up to £1 million to finance British migrants’ fares.
