Yodelling Dogs.— Two “yodelling” wild dogs have arrived from the New Guinea Changri La Valley for Taronga Park Zoo. The dogs are the first of their species to leave New Guinea. They resemble a cross between an Australian fox and dingo. They are nocturnal, very shy, and have bushy tails. Their howl is like the howl of the dingo, but is highpitched like a yodel.—Sydney (Reuter).
