S.A.S. SQUADRON IN MALAYA
Terrorist Killed By Patrol (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 23. A patrol of the New Zealand Special Air Service Squadron in Malaya killed a Communist terrorist and wounded another in the jungle on Friday afternoon
says advice received today by Army Headquarters, Wellington. Led by Lance-Corporal R. P. Withers (Geraldine) the patrol, which was five strong, recovered two rifles. The wounded terrorist was not sighted in a follow-up action.
