Taranaki Champion T. Jeffery Again
(New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, April 22. Too steady for his younger, less experienced opponent. T. J. Jeffery, New Plymouth, won his sixth Taranaki amateur golf championship when he beat a clubmate, B Chong, 4 and 3, in the final at the New Plymouth Golf Club’s Ngamotu lirtks today. Chong was beaten by Jeffery in the final last year.
