Girl’s Death.— Police said a four-year-old girl was killed today when struck by a car steered by a teenaged boy sitting backwards on the car’s bonnet. The boy, aged 17, was held for investigation. Mr Holyoake in Northern Ireland.—The leader of the New Zealand trade mission (Mr K. J. Holyoake), who has been the guest during Easter of Lord Brookeborough, Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, at his house at Colebrook, Coußty Fermanagh, will return to London tomorrow evening. The trade mission’s talks are due to recommence on Wednesday.—London, April 21. Lottery Winner Killed.— A man who was knocked down and killed by a car last night won £12.000 in a New South Wales lottery only two weeks ago. He was Stanley Alfred Arthur Dyer, aged 71, of Kingsford, who won first prize in a special lottery on April 9 with a ticket called “Just Luck.”—Sydney, April 22. Cave-in Kills Four Boys.— Four boys were killed in Johannesburg today when part of a mine dump caved in on them. Their bodies were found by other children at play nearby.—Johannesburg, April 21. Lenin Prizes Awarded. — Galina Ulanova, the Russian ballerina, and Andrei Tupolev, designer of the Russian jet airliner TU 104, were among the winners of Lenin Prizes for 1957, announced by Moscow Radio last night, the American Associated Press said today.—Moscow, April 22.
