MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. July 23. William Michael Patrick Hynes, aged 46, a drainlayer, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of killing Daniel Heke, aged 54, thereby committing manslaughter. Heke died in the Auckland Hospital last night. Mr H. Jenner Wily, S.M., remanded Hynes for a week.
