LANCASTER PARK
Sir,—Although you allowed so much space and latitude to the numerous correspondents it will ever be remembered in the sane sporting world. I know nothing so unsportsmanlike as the attitude taken up by the Lancaster Park Board of Control. It is not worthy of its name. Control indeed — muddling and unsportsmanlike are the only terms, and why? What is behind all this would-be interesting discussion? “In Nuce,” in his letter of June 19, says a change of control is overdue, Well, let us have it. “J.M.K." in “The Press” of Maj’ 6, did a service to sport that will live on when the Board of Control is forgotten.—Yours, etc AD REM. June 26. 1946. [This correspondence is now closed.— Ed.. “The Press.”]
