DANUBE STATES TO CONFER
MEETING SPONSORED
BY SOVIET ECONOMIC co-operation <Rec. 10 P.m.) BUDA PESt, June 25. The Acting-Prime Minister of Hungary (Mr Arpad Szakasits) announced that there would be a meeting in Hungary this summer of representatives of all the Danublan countries under the kponsorahip of the Soviet, to discuss mutual economic problems. Mr Szakasits had earlier disclosed that representatives of the Danubian countries were endeavouring, with Soviet backing, to hold a round-table conference to discuss financial and economic co-operation and the free passage of goods and persons on the Danube.
