U.S. COMPLAINT TO RUSSIA
ADMITTANCE REFUSED TO BULGARIA (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 21. The United States Acting-Secretary of State (Mr Dean Acheson) told the newspapers that the United States is asking Russia why four American correspondents representing, the “New York Times,” the “Christian Science Monitor,” “Newsweek” magazine, and the Overseas News Agency, were barred entrance to Bulgaria a few days ago. Mr Acheson said that under the Potsdam Agreement, American reporters have the right of access to Bulgaria.
