HOSPITAL NURSE REINSTATED

SEQUEL TO STRIKE OF STAFF SYDNEY, June 22. Sister Pamela Swift, on wnpm the Kempsey Hospital nursing staff dispute has centred, has been reinstated by order of the Hospitals Commission, “without making any admissions and without prejudice to the board, ’ Pending the hearing of the dispute in *“e Arbitration Court. This followed a statement "by the fenior Conciliation Commissioner (Mr E -.J. Kilpatrick) that Sister Swift’s dismissal was unwarranted. Sister Swift had been first dismissed, and then removed from the hospital by two members of the hospital board, after a series of incidents which began when she carried a placard in Sydney campaigning for better quarters for nurses.
