, WESTPORT, June 22. The Buller Rugby team, with many changesfrom th? slde which lost to
Canterbury on June 1, scored a decisive win over West Coast to-day by 16 points to 11. The Buller forwards, with W. Mumm, A. Moseley, and T. Coyne outstanding, played brilliant football in the second spell, when the team was down 11-3, and repeatedly bustled the Coast backs, who, however, were often brilliant on attack, with T. R. O’Callaghan. Thomas, and R. Roberts the most prominent. B. Finlayson,, half-back, and R. Hawes, centre, were Buller’s’ best backs. For Buller, Mumm, J. Fox. T. Anderson, and D. Neighbours scored tries, Finlayson converting two. For Coast, Roberts and Horrack scored tries, O’Callaghan converting one and kicking a penalty.
