AMERICAN LOAN TO BRITAIN

BANKING COMMITTEE’S APPROVAL (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Jun 17. The alternative would be a risk that the world would be divided into economic blocs with the ever present danger of economic warfare intensifying • international hatreds, jealousies and suspicion. Under these conditions United States efforts towards maintaining peace would certainly be doomed to failure. The House begins the debate on the loan next week.
