KATAN AND CLAYBOURNE DRAW (P.A.) PALMERSTON N., June 16. Jphn Katan and Jack Claybourne drew in a professional, wrestling bout on Saturday evening. Katan secured a submission fall in the fifth round with an Australian crab. Claybourne secured his fall in the seventh rotfnd with two flying tackles and a drop-kick. The light-weight professionals, J. Prestney (Wellington champion) and W.'Cook (Wellington) also drew, Prestney securing a submission fall with a python clutch in the third round and Cook drew level in the fifth with a giant swing. M’CREADY BEATS KENNETH (P A.) NAPIER, June 16. In the first professional wrestling bout held in Napier for several'years, Earl McCready beat Ken Kenneth. Kenneth was awarded a fall in the second round. McCready had applied a double reverse wristlock on Kenneth and was trying to roll him over when McCready’s shoulders touched the mat for three seconds. McCready secured a fall in the sixth round. Kenneth was unable to resume. The bout was awarded to the Canadian.
