BOXING
TOURNAMENT AT TEMUKA From Our Own Reporter TEMUKA, June 16. A good display of boxing was witnessed by the large gathering which attended the Temuka Boxing Association’s tournament at Temuka last evening. Amateur boxers were present from many parts of the South Island. Results were:— A. Chang (6st), of Waimate, beat B. Jamieson (7st). of Ashburton; G. Thompson (list), Timaru, beat M. Rice IK 0 ? 1 7 1? ) ’ Air Forc e, beat T. McKay (lost 91b). Temuka; C. H. Kerr (9st 91b), Oamaru, beat H. Russell (9st 131 b), Air Force; C. Hay (Bst 51b), Ashburton, beat £• 121b >’ Oamaru; V. Woods (lOst 51b). Timaru, beat L. Chang (lost) WzTmate; I. Cruickshanks (lOst 91b), Dunedin, beat W.
