TWO BUTCHERS FINED (P.A.) NELSON, June 14. In Magistrate’s Court at Motueka, Gray Bros., butchers, were fined a total of £5O on eight charges of acquiring rationed good? without authority, and one charge of failing to mark carcases of meat. Court costs were 10s on each charge. i DANNEVIRKE, June 14. Six breaches of the Rationing Emergency Regulations consisting of making untrue or misleading statements and returns submitted to the Rationing Controller, were admitted by Bernard Fleetwood Clarke, a retail butcher. Fines totalling £26 were imposed. The Magistrate said defendant had received several official warnings.
