MILK SUPPLY TO ST. BEDE’S

Sir,—You rqport in this morning’s issue an allegation made at a meeting of the Canterbury School Committees’ Association that “more milk than it knows how to deal with” has been received by St. Bede’s College, while some primary schools have been short. The facts are these: the college roll is 310 pupils; *260 bottles of milk have been delivered at the college on three days only since the beginning of this term (May 28). On these three days all the milk was consumed by the pupils. They knew how to deal with it—Yours, etc., J. W. DOWLING. June 13. 1946.
