MINOR FIRES
Two minor fires were attended by the Central Fire Brigade yesterday At 730 a.m., there was a call to tne rain store of A S. Paterson and Company Ltd., 70 Moorhouse avenue, where a motor in a grinding machine had burnt out. No other damage was done. A chimney fire at the home ot Mr W Ardagh, 4698 Colombo street, was extinguished about 7 p.m.
