CHRISTCHURCH CLUB Members of the Christchurch Harrier Club were the guests of Messrs G. Hedges and V. M. Busby, and held a six-mile run from the home of Mr and Mrs Hedges, 577 Ferry road, on Saturday. The trail was laid by Busby and J. I. Young. Results were:—Fast pack: H. Novls 1, R. Mooney 2, T. Bain 3. Intermediate pack: W. K. Mintrom 1, E. Perry 2. S. Riley 3. Slow pack: G. Kent 1, R. Crosbie 2. P. Kelly 3. LADIES’ PIONEER CLUB Members of the Christchurch Ladies' Pioneer Harrier Club were the guests of Mrs S. Thomas. 82 Hartley avenue, Papanui, on Saturday. The trail was laid by B. Bradley and B. Thomas, and led over .a five-mile course through the Papanui. Marshland, and Styx districts. Results: A. Hughes 1, D. Seeker 2, P. Frost 3. COMBINED CLUB The Combined Harrier Club was the guest of Mr and Mrs B. Lawrence, of Aynsley terrace. Opawa, on Saturday, and ran over a seven-mile trail of hill, paddock, and road. The trail was laid by B. Evans and A. Sutherland. A team from Army also ran. Results:—Fast pack: F. Mair 1, R. D. Molyneux 2, G. Wooles 3. Intermediate pack: G'. Beaumont 1, L. R. McMillan (Army) 2, R. Banks and A. Simpson (equal) 3. Slow pack: M. Cardwell 1. G. Rowse 2, S. King (Army) 3. CANTERBURY COLLEGE CLUB A run was held in the Heathcote district on Saturday by the Canterbury College Harrier Club. The trail was laid by W. Packard and R. Palmer. Results:— Fast pack: J. Borland 1. C. Kernahan 2, J. Miller 3. Slow pack: O. Truebridge 1, J. Rodgers 2. PRESBYTERIAN HARRIER CLUB Thirty-six members of the Presbyterian Harrier Club ran on Saturday from St. James' Presbyterian Church, Spreydon. A trail over a course „of six miles led through the Spreydon and Halswell districts. Results Slow pack: A. Candy 1. M. Glandvllle 2, C. Cleghorn 3. Medium pack: M. Yardley 1, D. Riley 2, S. Bishop 3.
