INSURANCE OF SOLDIERS
V/A OULI/IJiIVO Sir, —Can you tell me the position of a soldier who returns safe after being officially reported killed in action, if his next-of-kin has drawn and used his insurance? Does this have to be refunded? If so, by whom, presuming it is a Government policy? —Yours, etc., ~ INTERESTED. May 28, 1943. [This letter was referred to an official of the Government Life Insurance Office, who said that the money would h i v e to be refunded to the insurance office by the next-of-kin or other person to whom it had been paid. If the correspondent would go to the Government Life Insurance Office the whole position would be fully explained.] I
