A Rugby football match between teams representing Mason, Struthers and Company, and Ashby, Bergh and Company on Saturday was won by the former firm by 14 points to 6. For the winning team, N. Terrott scored two tries, C. Douglas and C. Moore one each, and A. Hadfield converted one try. Stonehouse kicked a penalty goal and scored a try for Ashby, Bergh's.

JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE MATCH CANTERBURY V. WELLINGTON ON SATURDAY i ______ A junior Canterbury, representative team will play a Wellington representative team at Monica Park at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday. Following are the players;— J. More, E. Reynolds, M. Sewell, C. Barnes, B. Crouch, R. Mcßride, J. Clark (captain), M. Kirk, E. Forbes, Brownley, P. O'Oonnor, H. Rhind, H. Hamberger, A. James, S. Jordan. Mr P. Cotton will be referee. The team will practise at Jerrold street to-night and to-morrow night at 7.30.
ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL AUSTRALIA BEATS INDIA CLOSE MATCH IN FOURTH TEST SYDNEY. September 25. After a tense and exciting contest Australia beat India in the fourth test by 5 goals to 4.
