SWIMMING
CHRISTCHURCH AND UNITED CLUB Tlie annual meeting of the Christchurch and United Amateur Swimming Club was held recently, the president (Mr J. H. Buchanan) presiding over a large attendance.
The subject of grade swimming in the coming season and the project for new tepid baths were fully discussed. The report stated that 14 new members had been elected last season, making a total of 138.
