COMPOSITE AIRCRAFT BEING PREPARED
(nmsß official *tacLK«s.)' • RUGBY, September 20. The Maia, the lower component of the Mayo composite aircraft, flew yesterday from Southampton to Dundee, where.it will await the arrival of the upper component, the Mercury, which has been undergoing an overhaul at Rochester.
From Dundee, the Mercury, which will be launched from the back of the Maia, will set off, bn a date not yet fixed, for Cape Town in ah attempt to break the world’s longdistance record.
