GENEVA, September 21.
Speaking to the political committee of the League of Nations M. Paul Boncour (French delegate) praised Britain’s handlings of her mandate over Palestine. v
The Iraq, Eire, and Albanian delegates, however, opposed the suggested partition. y; ; Mr R. A. Butler (Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs) replied that the matter was sub-judice, but that-'he would report to his Government.
ATTACK ON JEWISH SETTLEMENTS

HAIFA, September HI. Two Jewish settlements near Haifa were attacked and three Jews killed.
