TOLL OF THE ROAD IN NEW SOUTH WALES

SYDNEY, September 21
The New South Wales Road Safety Council has announced that the number of road accidents in the state during the year ended June 30 totalled 12,575, an increase of 9.7 per cent.', compared with the previous year. The number killed was 600 and injured 8615.
