MR G. CLARK APPOINTED

inu, iHoeunoa mwiu.i PALMERSTON N., September 10. Mr G. Clark, Chief Postmaster at Palmerston North, is being transferred to a similar position in Christchurch, taking over his duties there on October 1. He will replace Mr F. W. Furby. now retiring on superannuation, who underwent a similar transfer from Palmerston North some years ago. lib: Clark has occupied his present position since January, .1937. Mr A. N. Wallace, Chief Postmaster at Nelson, will succeed Mr Clark at Palmerston North.
