♦ Wanted As GovernorsGeneral REQUESTS LIKELY TO BE MADE (UN'ITED PRESS ASSOCIATION' —BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.) (Received March 11, 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 10. The "Sunday Express" says that the Dominion Prime Ministers visiting London for the King's jubilee will ask the King to appoint his sons as governors-general. Australia wants the Duke of Kent, South Africa the Duke of York, and New Zealand the Duke of Gloucester. There is a strong belief in court circles that the Duke of. York and the Duke of Kent will accept, but the Duke of Gloucester will not take a governor-generalship as he is unmarried. The "Sunday Express" suggests that either Lord Sankey or Lord Londonderry will succeed Lord Willingdon as Viceroy of India.
