. ♦ BOMBING AND LANDING CONTEST A bombing and landing contest, part of the competition for the President's Cup, was held by pilots of the Canterbury Aero Club yesterday morning, resulting as follows: — D. E. Grigg .. .. 1 F. Sharman .. .. 2 W. H. Went '.. .. 3 Only one of the series of contests remains to be held, and the result cannot affect the final placing for the cup. The winner is F. Sharman, with a total of 29 points, while E. Gant (19) and Miss N. Rountree (18) are next in order.
