SEVERE EARTHQUAKE IN INDIA
J5I(; area affected CALCUTTA, March b\ A large area of Northern India was shaken at midnight and again at 4 a.m. by a severe earthquake. The epicentre is believed to be in Western Nepal. The tremors were especially severe at Delhi and neighbourhoodPeople rushed into the open spaces and a few houses collapsed, slightly injuring several persons. So far no extensive damage is reported.
