OBITUARY
—s>-^ MR THOMAS TAYLOR The death occurred recently, after a long illness, cf Mr Thomas Taylor, of Sumner Mr Taylor arrived in New Zealand from Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, in IOOi, and joined the lirm of Messrs Strange and Company, Ltd., later joining the iurnisning department of Messrs A. J. White, Liu. At the ouibreak of th: Great War, he enl.slcd with the Eight Reinforcement, and was later invalided home Since then he had been connected with several well-known furnishing firms in Cnristehurch, and before his death was employed by Messrs Beath and Company, L'.tf. He leaves a widow and one son. The funeral took place at Bromley Cemetery The pall-bearers were M-srs Nat Woods, J. Manning, A. Ceesar, A. Wills, L. Jeffs, T. Queenan. Wreath; wore sent from the following:_Mr Cha-. carpet ciepjnment, the house stall, and office staff of Messrs Beath and Company, Ltd., Arthur Ellis and Company, the "stair 'A. A. G.
