The Edgeware Bowling Club's singles championship final was played last Saturday, under ideal conditions. Efford (two lives) and Henry (one life) were the contestants, and the latter secured an easy win in the first .. game. This left Efford with one life, and after a brief interval, hostilities were resumed for the final. Both players played very well and tied on the twenty-first head. In the replay Efford lay two good shots, byt Henry with his last bowl, drew a beautiful toucher to win the club's championship. HLTT PAIR WIN WELLINGTON CONTEST (TRESS ASSOCIATION TEL.EGBAM.)
