«► INTERNATIONAL LOAN SAID TO HE IMPRACTICABLE (Received March 6, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. March 5. The "Sun-Ileralrl" service learns that the British Government has dispatched a note to China, Japan, France and America intimating that an international loan to China is impracticable. The British Government, views China's position pessimistically, because of the severe deflation due to the rise in silver. It can see no prospect of collective or individual foreign assistance if silver continues to rise, as loans under sucn conditions resemble pouring water down a drain.
