SOME THRILLING SPORT ASSURED Excellent entries have been received for the Pioneer Motor Club's meeting at the New Brighton trotting grounds on Saturday afternoon, and the meeting promises to be the most successful held here for some time. Once more mo!or enthusiasts will have an opportunity of seeing fast light cars in action, and as each will have the advantage of an exnert. driver, some very thrilling racing should bo seen. Amongst the motor-cycle riders there will be a strong team from Nelson, including the redoubtable A. Bradley, w r ho is at the present time one of the Dominion's most outstanding riders. In addition to winning the Tourist Trophy race, the "blue riband" event in the motor-cycle speed circles, Bradley has had the distinction of lowering one of the records set by the hitherto invincible Percy Coleman. Several of those who will be racing on Saturday put up some very fine times on tho trotting grounds at practices during the week, when the track was found to be in excellent condition. It is estimated that there will be a large attendance, and an exciting afternoons' sport is promised. Parking will be free.
