WOMEN SUFFRAGE
CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES CARRIES MOTION (Received March 3, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, March 1. .The Chamber of Deputies carried, by 453 votes to 124, a motion by the Socialist M. Bracke in favour of granting women equal rights with men, not only at municipal but at all elections to deliberative assemblies. The Senate has, however, twice previously rejected women's suffrage bills.
