MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED.
A young man, Jack Weir, living in Peterborough street, was thrown from his motor-cycle when it skidded in loose shingle in Bamford street in the early hours of Sunday morning. He' received head injuries and was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, but was not in a serious condition. A girl riding on the pillion-seat was uninjured.
