Tho March Past will commence at y.lo, and during the afternoon tJiero will he displays by the guide.s and scouts; also farther sports. Visiting guidcr.s and guides are invited to take part in the March Piist. Miss lilac);well is organising the guide section, and the following companies and packs will participate: Belfast Guides. Kaiapoi Guides and Brownies. Wood end. Guides. Amberi>'v Guides anil Rangiora Guides. # « * A Brownie Pack is in cour.-e of lorniation at Woodcnd. Mrs Heath is Acting-Brown Owl, and Miss Actiiig-Tawny Owl. ♦ # • South-East Christchurch District Rally. The inclement weather which prevailed, on Saturday necessitated the postponement of the District Rally. Given line weather there was every prospect oi an excellent programme as over 300 guides and brownies attended, despite unfavourable eoiulition.s, and it was a disappointment to all. that the competitions and displays could not be held. However, guides and brownies "'Smile and sing when under difficulties" and this cheerfulness was particularly noticeable among.st the brownies. It is hoped that the competitions may' be arranged for at a dav in the near future.
